Just wondering whether to persevere with this.
Has anyone watched this through yet, and if so, what did they think (no spoilers please!!!)
It seems to be highly rated by lots of people, but I'm about 5 episodes in and just wondering when/if it gets better?
Pace is very slow, and they seem to be getting an awful lot of mileage from just one menacing character.
Stranger Things - worth sticking with it?

I suppose it depends on what you like.
We thought it was very good and it's difficult to find something we both agree on. If you have just come from Marvels universe it might not seem boomy or superheroy enough.
I'd say stick with it a little more then decide. Some decent music in it too and it's made Kate Bush No 1.

No idea, as I gave up before then. Life is too short and there are plenty of other good things to watch.zico wrote:I'm about 5 episodes in and just wondering when/if it gets better?

If Season 1 doesn't excite you, maybe best to bow out now.
2 was better but the last one was a hard watch. I persevered for my daughter.

All a bit too juvenile in the end and rather all over the place as in stretching to fill content into extra episodes, but no harm in watching if nothing better to do!

Thanks for the replies - that'll saved a good few hours that I could be using to watch something more entertaining.

I'm not knocking your decision but without watching both how will you know?zico wrote:Thanks for the replies - that'll saved a good few hours that I could be using to watch something more entertaining.
I suppose it depends on if you follow the crowd. As the crowd seem to love this. Sometimes I read reviews both critic and viewers to help me decide on things to view. Most times they agree but sometimes not. The Terminal List being a prime example. Panned by critics but loved by viewers, myself included.
