I was out walking today and passed a large well known local hotel. In the car park was a very attractive looking Rolls Royce Silver Ghost with a great number plate GH05T VO. It struck me as being so much classier than the average personalised number with the owner's initials, that I almost laughed out loud. As it happens the guy (no doubt the owner) was just getting into the car and I said to him 'Love your numberplate'. He looked taken aback at first then grinned widely and we exchanged pleasantries. I am sure I made his day and his numberplate made mine.
Such is post Covid Scotland.

Nicest plate I ever saw was also on a Rolls Royce, a Silver Cloud this time IIRC.
"C0M IC", belonging (I was told by my uncle who was with me at the time) to Jimmy Tarbuck.
