We wanted to stop for lunch en route but have to be there for between 1400-1530. Coming from central Wiltshire the "obvious" places to stop were maybe Hungerford, Theale, Newbury (west side) or indeed Ealing ... our concern wrt ealing is parking (ie finding somewhere). We consist of a vegetarian (no fish/chicken etc, but dairy is fine), a carnivore (that is happy to eat veggie
if its good!) and one that can float between the two.
I've looked on tripadvisor but nothing is leaping out TBH ...
so can anybody suggest somewhere along that route/those places - it doesn't have to be fine dining particularly, but "greasy spoon" inst really what we want (nothing wrong with them of course, just not what we want Saturday

Ethnic cuisine is fine, though probably not chinese.
