ISTR that it should end up on your medical record, and if you ask your GP for a list of vaccinations received they should give it to you - probably as a hard copy.

On the other hand you could wait for the pubs to re-open and for the Government to give a contract for "Vaccination Passports" to their mate from the Cock and Bull who "knows about phones and computers".

I'd guess it goes onto your record, but as far as I know we have no online access to our records in Scotland.

You'd maybe have to ask your GP practice if they have it?

You do get a small card with the Vaccination details on it in England, I assume it appears on your NHS records as that is how we booked the appointment. I haven't though checked our records even though they are available on line here, but I would not be surprised if there was the usual level of incompetance displayed with NHS systems.

There was a representative of Easyjet talking on Times Radio about the possibility of vaccine passports and the suggestion that airlines could link to 'the NHS system'.

She pointed out that there is no NHS system, each Health Trust administers things separately. So the notion of linking to 'a system' is a non-starter, even before you begin to consider other countries. Such as Scotland. Greece. USA. Zambia.
She expressed the (forlorn) hope that there will be a simple internationally agreed standard for 'passports' that the passenger will carry with them.
Airlines are apparently in discussion with the govt pursuant this notion.

I read elsewhere onthis site that when you are jabbed in England you get a receipt (for want of a better word) and I think some said it appeared on their online personal NHS record.

Up here, we get nothing (as far as I know) and I've just checked my local GP's Patient Service client website (which has some basic info and allows you to request repeat prescriptions) and there's nothing there either. Google doesn't help either. The nurse did record it on her tablet, so it is somewhere in NHS Scotland.

Any thoughts?

Here in England I received the usual credit card sized card with the date and details of the first vaccination, but no appointment date for the second. I checked online (Patient Access/EMIS) and saw it was on my medical record, but seemingly no details of the actual vaccine. Following posts elsewhere on TLF I looked at my medical record again and found full details of the vaccination itself was listed under the 'Medication' section.

Have you looked in detail at your online medical record? Full information might be similarly 'hiding' somewhere in there.

The current advice in England is to hold onto your vaccination appointment card.

It is likely to become a de facto vaccination passport pending the introduction of an official version, which, IMHO, is coming - whether we like it or not . . .

I had my first vaccine in my own doctor's surgery. It just seemed to be the way they did it. He had my medical record on his screen and presumably noted that I had had my first vaccine. I do not know if we will get any record to retain when we get our second vaccine, for me, on 10 April but I will try to remember to ask about this at that time.
