At today's Covid booster, I was asked whether I had had a vaccination within the previous week, A close run thing, as the flu one had been 8 days earlier.
I had my booster (Pfizer) and flu jabs yesterday. Maybe, if you had had a vaccination in the past 7 days, they might go on to ask what it was for. The nurse made a passing reference to the shingles vaccine, so perhaps that vaccine causes a clash of some sort?

This is Australian, but perhaps it really is just a matter of managing side effects:

which I think has already been mentioned.

If she'd asked me that in the 30 secs between the two jabs, I'd have been sunk :)

My spouse had her two jabs today - the flu jab and the Covid Booster - the Moderna vaccine following her previous two Pfizer jabs.

Scotland has now opened up online booking of boosters for the over 50s. But for now I can't find any appointments near me. Hopefully this will change soon.

When I tried to book my booster via the app, it was hopeless
a choice of one day over a two hour period with 30 min intervals
I mean if you can't make 2pm are you likely to be able to attend at 2.30, 3.00 etc
The text I received had a number I could call and they booked me in immediately
although not until Nov 23, the text was recevied 26 Oct
this is a lot longer wait than for jabs 1 and 2

PS
must clear up what I meant here
https://www.lemonfool.co.uk/viewtopic.p ... 20#p452610
I misunderstood, and thought @Stompa had meant 2 flu jabs

Scott.
Try a phone booking - in my experience (for the over 70s) the on-line booking system denied that there were any vacancies at a nearby town, but the phone system had no problem in giving me an appointment.

The phone booking system uses exactly the same website as the online boking system in England. I went both ways and got exactly the same result. Then a few days later got an email with a different link to access our local centre, which was not available by the other system.

Anyway, had our boosters on Saturday, which was the earliest available date at 19th October.

As I expected, more appointments have now been "loaded" into the system. We now have boosters booked for early December.

I thought the same thing. If I felt sick afterwards I would not know which jab caused that.

Anyway, too late for me, I had my third Covid jab last week and put off the flu jab.

Some vaccinations require that you have had no other vaccination in the prior few weeks. Presumably that does not apply to these if they are being offered together.

BCG and covid are a no-no together. Don,t know why though

I had Covid in December.

I then had my two AZ Covid vaccines and had my flu jab yesterday. Zero effect from either of the Covid jabs or the flu jab.

What this all means, who knows.
