I had understood REITs to be in scope for HYP, on that basis shouldn't if a shadow is needed at all shouldn't it be in HYP Practical?

Both are REITs.

Having defined Real estate investment trusts as (REITs) at the start of the article, the author should then have continued with REITs, rather then reverting to investment trusts later in the article.
