Can anyone assist me to having a tiny question.
A split yr ago, I was diagnosed with a candida fungus
I would like to try some diet program against Candida.
On the internet, a lot of information about this situation.
Although experiences generally diverge. And I didn't find the right selection for me personally.
Possibly the forum participants can would suggest an established diet or maybe a few tested recipes against candida?
I'll be really many thanks for almost any assistance

who actually made your diagnosis?

my GP (UK) says they dont do a test for this .

i feel the NHS are uninterested in helping people with gut issues .

Yes there is lots of advice on the internet and the difficulty as always is to know what advice to trust especially in this sort of area which does not really have much recognition among medical professionals.

The generally accepted advice is to avoid sugary foods, alcohol and fermented food along with yeast as in bread. I assume this is what you tried.

There is nothing to be lost by trying to stick to a healthy diet consisting of fresh food and avoiding processed meals. So things like, porridge, eggs, fish, fresh vegetables and salads and drinking water rather than anything else would certainly do no harm and may or may not alleviate your symptoms.

Try for variety rather than limiting your food choices excepted to avoid those categories listed above.

i am taking garlic in high doses.

i have read that once this fungus gets well established in the gut , it takes seriously strong medication to get rid of it .

but if we cant get a proper test , how do we know weve got it ?
