Free Netflix on Sky

Post by DrFfybes »

Not sure if this should go here or on the Technology board, or even LBYM, however....

We were looking for a series we were recommended by MrsF's sister last night, which led us into the App section on Sky. We decided to see how much Netflix was for a month, only to find it was free.

So I went online into our Sky account and there it was - Netflix basic free for 4 (four) months with apparently no minimum term thereafter.

We'd had no email notification so not sure how long the deal has been there, or if it is widespread amongst their customers, but it might be worth you checking your account.

Yeah, I recall reading that it came as part of the Basic Sky Q package (I dont have Sky Q)

I bought Netflix back in December, but my eyes now only work when watching Ultra HD, so I bought the highest spec package. And very pleasant it is too.

There is a lot of stuff on Netflix though. They make a movie out of anything really. 'The History of Pornhub' is on my viewing list (my mental viewing list, not the one that the missus can see on screen ;)

It was always an add-on for a fiver IIRC, but when we looked before Xmas it wasn't free.

Coincidentally I just dug my way down to the postbox to find an offer letter from Sky - half price multiroom for 18 months, but no mention of free Netflix!
