Irene and Franklin York live out in the sticks. With advancing age and frailty, they consider moving...however they have a secret in their back garden.

A slow paced sci-fi series ( series 1 , 8 episodes)...relying on character development and a slowly revealed underlying plot.

Series 1 ends well and would lead to a possible second series....although Prime have cancelled a second series

Sorry to read that Series 2 has been cancelled.

I found this series quite delightful with the ever enchanting Sissy Spacek still more than able to carry a star role. J K Simmons is as usual excellent and Chai Hansen (plays the cameraman in the Newsreader) is suitably low level creepy as the main support.

Have to agree with servodude. The series is fairly well self contained within the 8 episodes. Well worth viewing for reasons already given.

Just finished the 2nd episode, I watched 1 & 2 back to back and I'm liking the unwrapping of the tale, I hope we get a bit more pace and tying together of the threads.
