The US title of this 3 episode series on Netflix is Clusterf**k:Woodstock '99 - which about sums up this documentary about cloning Woodstock 69 with Apocalypse Now. Hold a 3 day 'festival' on defunct airfield (largely tarmac) with temps of 90/100F and all supplies of water and food in the hands of price gouging concessionaires after having banned food and water being brought onto site by attendees. A cast of venal promoters, nu metal groups, female (what am I doing here) singers, beavis and butthead interviewees and 200,000 to 400,000 (no-one actually admitting to have many actually attended) drug/booze fuelled kids provides a Lord of the Flies update.

It's most depressing watching it. Could easily have been done in one rather than three episodes. Basically it demonstrated in the 30 years between the first Woodstock and this event that the promoters learned to not give a stuff about the customers and the customers had forgotten how to behave. Most depressing in my humble opinion.

I watched the first episode and don't have the heart to watch any more.

Not so much "we are stardust, we are golden"

More

"We are dog turds we are retarded"
