It must be something in teh air...

The IMDB chat boards are now closed (and aren;t even left up but unable to post )... ive looked for something similar but haven;t really found anything that has come close. I enjoyed reading other's comments and queries after I'd seen a film, usually to see what nuances others had picked up on that I had totally missed :-)

I did think we could all just crate a thread on any film we'd seen but that could potentially and very quickly drown this forum anyway, and possibly there are insufficient of us to really nake it work?

PS FTR I've recently seen the wilderpeople, chinese puzzle, hell and high water, filth, black sheep and counter clockwise :-)

One replacement for IMDB's message boards is moviechat.org

The people behind the site have archived most of IMDB's message boards and put it on their site.

Having discovered this site a few days ago I've had a look at some of the boards for older films and there are a lot of old posts there.

Importantly there is quite a bit of activity on the message boards for current films.

Britmovie.co.uk also lost their server website, died and lost years' worth of cinema discussion, information, etc.

Not so, the old site has been archived, albeit in a rather clunky format, at http://filmdope.com/forums/

And the new Britmovie site is alive and kicking at https://www.britmovie.co.uk/ You need to (re)register.
