My Dog Stupid

Post by nimnarb »

Have I got a film for you. Just head over to Amazon Prime. French film with English Subtitles. Really witty and at times belly ache laugh out loud script. Lets just say that a stray slobbery humongous cow of a dog wanders into a home and causes chaos. On top of that he is gay. Funny unpretentious stuff and a welcome relief. Few glasses of wine and silly time awaits for a few hours.

Well that’s no excuse to take my doggie movie out on me (which really isn’t a doggy movie at all plus now I learn it’s not being shown on Amazon UK anyway

Your Doggy(doggie) movie was very dodgy and a dog sheeety one at that. Will it win something, no doubt. Why, I have no idea.

So I put The Power of the dog on for Bruno my dog just to see what he thought. Couldn’t understand why the movie kept stopping and starting until I saw that he couldn’t resist pressing the paws button.

Nimnarb - are you watching Prime outside of the UK? I tried to find "My Dog Stupid" last night on Amazon prime (in the UK) and couldn't find it sadly.

So we watched "The Book Thief" instead - very true to the book. Beautiful. But not about a dog :-)

Hi Didds,
Yes if you read a few posts back I found out it’s only on Amazon USA. VPN might do it? Shame for you as was brilliant. I will try the book thief another time. Thx.

ah - sorry - missed that somehow.

It seems Opera's VPN will permit that . I can then chromecast it to our TV :-)

cheers!

Amazon are the one provider I've never had any luck with on VPN
even when I'm not using one for geolocating traffic (e.g. if I've just logged in to an office network) it complains

Would love to know if there's a way round that (suspect it's a combo of location, vpn and amazon prime account)

Why didn't Big Bad Benedict Cumberbatch of the Power of the Dog give Will Smith a Glasgow Kiss in order to stop the hastily crafted inane waffle of apology/thanks for Best Slap Oscar?

What's all this handbags nonsense?
