Amazing eh, and thank gawd I'm not stuck in the middle of that ocean of an audience. They certainly knew how to put on a show.
I saw them at Olympia Stadium Berlin c2010, probably the biggest venue I've seen. Then a couple of weeks after Motorhead in a little old 'school-hall' in the grottiest eastern suburb. Simply epic. Do it while you can, you often don't get a second chance!

Also responsible for one of the best crowd singalongs of Don't Look Back in Anger on the final Oasis tour :

I think gigs have givers and takers. Some bands seem to absorb more in than they give out and you simply can't tell in advance unless you know them. Example: U2 are mega-egocentric suckers in of energy. Oasis have that same look, no wonder they're history.

Motorhead were givers, and a joy for it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUTvYqQvpYg - 'Motörhead ♠ Killed By Death (Live)'

OK I'm as big a fan of Bowie as anyone but I challenge you not to like this.

Meanwhile in some weird alternative universe you might find a video of Bowie on the Jay Leno show covering the Pixies with Moby on guitar!?

Like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=itiTmGq7aco
- which I suppose means we live in a weird alternative universe and that's strangely comforting
