The Mysterious Murder of Ann Heron - My5

Post by AsleepInYorkshire »

This documentary is worth a watch in my opinion. We often don't know what others have had to live through. What they have had to endure and how it has a lasting impact on their life.

Ann Heron was brutally murdered in her home on 3rd August 1990. Her killer has never been identified. Ann's husband Peter was later charged with her murder in 2005. However, these charges were dropped due to a lack of evidence.

Peter's now 87 and has never given up the hope that before he dies his wife's murderer is identified.

If I was able to speak to Peter I'd want to reassure him that he is a good man. If Peter was reading this post I'd want to say to him that I too hope he finds peace. My thoughts are with him and his family.

Take care Peter

Does the documentary lead you to believe in the husband's innocence? I'd never heard of the case, and haven't seen the documentary, but a scan of the Wikipedia page would certainly leave me at least open-minded that the husband could well be the murderer.

Hi Scott,

I didn't want to say too much as I felt it would spoil the documentary. The Wikipedia page is not very informative and lacks a huge amount of detail.

I really don't want to sound evasive but I'd prefer not to spoil it for those who want to watch and arrive at their own conclusion.

My5 is Channel 5's streaming/catchup tv service
Think of of it as their version of BBC Iplayer
