I don’t know if I’m just getting used to the format but this years Broadchurch has been a bit of a drag. The first series just seemed so good or was it just because it was a new format? This series, every week a supposed ‘suspect’ is paraded in front of the viewer with new evidence to leave us all guessing. But in the end you secretly know it will be none of the obvious suspects but the Vickers wife with a strap on.

Or it would be if she'd made an appearance. It has to be somebody that has featured otherwise it would be totally unfair!. So my money is on Detective Ellie Millars (Olivia Coleman) Sons best friend who we saw briefly a couple of episodes ago getting into hard porn on his mobile which will have inspired the rape.
