Note: 1...'Value %Total' is the portfolio value of the share as a % of the total portfolio
2...'Div %Total' is the expected dividend of the share based on forecast yield
as a % of the total portfolio expected dividend
Note that a couple of the above yields are reported incorrectly (MCT, JETI). The HYPTUSS tool created by Kiloran & IAAG is superb and very helpful, but I don't always have it up to date.

I reviewed my portfolio and positioning yesterday, and made some changes.
This is slightly complicated by the fact that this portfolio is roughly split 60:40 between a SIPP and an ISA, and I have slightly differing objectives for the two different bits. I have now retired, am am drawing income from the SIPP, and want it to generate cash to drawdown, whereas the ISA is there to cover exceptional expenditure (support for kids to get independent) and later to cover any care home fees.

The tweaking that I did yesterday amounted to less than 5% of the total, and was restricted to the SIPP portion. The changes that I made were largely to increase the higher yielding/lower rated stocks and improve the cash generation.
I reduced my position in FCIT by a third, and funnelled the proceeds into CTY.
I trimmed positions in ITV & MGAM (both bought when I was trying to improve the diversity of the portfolio) and put the proceeds into IMB, which is yielding 8.7%, and on a PE of just over 6.
The reasoning is largely that if we get an inflation /interest hike induced crash, these lowly rated but dependable cash generators will be hit less badly than flashier growth prospects.
