address info to HMRC

my daughter has left home
she has changed all HMRC addresses etc and does her tax return online from new address etc etc...no problems

BUT

HMRC continue to send updates on her PAYE code to my (the family/her old) email address
all her other returns/bills/rebates etc go to her correct email adress
just not the PAYE changes

HMRC will not talk to me about her account
and I cannot block the emails as the rest of us here in family still use the address

is there any way to get HMRC to ciorrect their wrong info, without her actually sitting by the phone for ages?

Your daughter should be able to log into her HMRC account and change her email address the same way as you change a phone number or postal address.

I can't see anyone else being able to do it.

I agree she should......and she has!
I also agree noone else should be able to do it

all other HMRC emails go to her correct email address
ONLY the PAYE coding emails continue to come to our family email

Maybe ask her PAYE provider/employer to make that change?

It's possible your OP where you referred to addresses (and not email addresses) may have lead to the suggestion to ALSO amend email addresses.

mnay thanks the ideas
HMRC definitely have the correct email address as they manage to send her reminders and returns etc
so 'addresses' isnt the problem

but I will suggest (you canot do mmore with daughters!!) that she gets her employer to check/get it changed
