Company accounting convention wording FRSSE

Post by Daytona »

Is this accounting convention still valid for a dormant company ? -

"The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective January 2005)."

FRSSE is no more, it is an ex approach, expired, bereft of life.........

Take a look at FRS105 or (but likely not wanted) FRS102.

Thanks Charlottesquare, my company was active then dormant for about 8 years and has zero transactions and balances so do you know of an example that shows me what wording to use under FRS105? I usually send in paper accounts after CH broke the link with HMCR dunno if it's easier online or if I have access.

Hi Daytona
If you have the companies house authorisation code you can easily file using the companies house new online site - which will handle the wording for you. You just need the numbers - and if nothing has happened that should be very straightforward.
