Email synching

The problem I have is between my iPhone and my iPad. If I open my emails on my iPhone and delete, reply, file etc. this also happens on my iPad as expected. However, if I edit on my iPad first, it doesn’t seem to carry across to my iPhone. So if for example, I delete an email received on my iPad, it doesn’t delete it on my iPhone, but does work if I start by deleting on my iPhone.

The strange thing is that I have only just started having this problem after many years with no problems at all. I haven’t changed any setting on either device. Both devices are fully updated.

Any suggestions to solving this dilemma would be very much appreciated.

Well I don't have an iAnything but, guessing, is it simply a matter of sync settings? If you delete a message on the iPad and then do whatever is needed to refetch all messages on the iPhone, does it disappear or is it still there?

I have the same issue so you are not alone. Sadly I do not have a solution.
