Absolutely. The Cloggies, and later the Fosdyke Saga, were part of the Private Eye soundtrack to my student years. (Together with Barry McKenzie, of course.) Anarchic, brilliant and often belly-achingly funny. Those were the days when you could invent an evil Chinese crime empress and call her Lu Fu, without being accused of something racially nasty.
The Wikipedia page on the Fosdyke Saga (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fosdyke_Saga) is enough of a tribute to its politically-incorrect anarchy. He'll be sadly missed. But what a contribution, and what a career. Thanks for all the memories.
