I invariably find with round laces that the knot quickly unties. I put an extra knot in the bows but even then they seem to work loose. I have largely replaced all my round laces with flat ones.88V8 wrote:Shoes vary. Flat laces knot, chunky round ones don't.

I don't have much of a problem with them forming a knot when I undo them.
