All I can tell you is that it is about the lower two thirds of Scotland and these are the names given to the gritters but I suppose there is more to it than that.

Are you obsessed with ice and snow?

Januar win' , blaws caul' an' snell..... Burns.

Januar win, fill dyke.......Burns.

Both scary without central heating, which HMG seems hell bent on putting an end to.

Probably Scotia or anither humble teuchter will be along shortly to correct my stumbling Burns.

Not a lot, especially when up here we have four or five names for seagulls, introverted or what ?

Not difficult, There's a bookful of them, two in the title. Once you've read it you will never look bach.
