"Undue Influence"

"Undue Influence"... is that what they call it nowadays? ;)

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2023/0 ... d-fortune/

"Goldman Sachs banker conned out of £4m by 'call girl' carer, court told
Court hears how Magda Zalinska is said to have used 'undue influence' to secure vast sums of money from Danny Truell"

"A court heard how Magda Zalinska, a former nightclub boss, is said to have used “undue influence” to secure vast sums of money from Danny Truell before he died in 2019 aged 55. She denies the claims. Mr Truell, a lifelong Labour Party member who debated with Boris Johnson while they were at Balliol College, Oxford, amassed an £18 million fortune after working at Goldman Sachs and then became Britain’s top-paid charity boss earning £3 million a year at the Wellcome Trust. "

With that amount of money, wasn't it 'due' influence?

I don't subscribe to the Daily Telegraph, so I don't know whether or not it presents the whole picture. Some relevant points from other publications:- In his will, Danny Truell donated the bulk of his fortune (£14M) to a Charitable Trust. He also described Miss Zalinska his "partner and dependent" in his will, and he verifiably had been in a long time relationship with her, and had donated substantial sums to her - which seems to be around the £4m which his brother is attempting to extract from her.
Danny Truell was diagnosed with a neurological disease (which has been reported as motor neurone disease and multiple sclerosis). He died at the age of 55 in 2019. This being a financial site, probably the most appropriate obituary is from the Welcome Trust

PS - I get "due influence" joke :)
