Fascinating. I love a good map. The big surprises there involve Chile. The length of the country and the flight path from Mongolia. Incredible.

Here's my favourite map site. The National Library of Scotland which hosts a whole raft of UK OS (and others) maps. I can spend hours using the 'side by side viewer' to compare the changes in the different places I have lived. Particularly useful for researching family history etc.
