how to post tables

Post by Dod101 »

A long time ago, I think IAAG pointed me in the right direction about how to post a table of say a portfolio on these Boards. I cannot now find it and searching is like looking for the proverbial needle in the equally proverbial haystack. Can anyone help please?

Have a look here if you want help formatting it...
Lemon Fool Table Formatter
The Lemon Fool website allows three different methods of inserting tabular data into a post.... .

...or here if you'd like to do it yourself.
People sometimes have a problem with posting tables, so I'm creating this post to try to help give a simple example...

Thanks Bree. The post from IAAG was exactly what I was looking for. Why can I not find these things myself?

Hi Dod,

I post tables incredibly infrequently, and struggled just the other week.

Of the three utilities in the TLF software repository, this is the one that did it for me (the source was pasting from Excel):
