Sharescope update

I'm running Sharescope Gold on Windows 7 and encountered a number of problems. Here's what happened to me? Has anyone else experienced similar problems, or am I the only one?

Responding to the prompt which appears when you start Sharescope I updated to the new version. The new version then proceeded to download Commodities, Unit Trust and US data, although I have never used these. Through Tools/Options/Databases I unticked the relevant boxes. The result was that no data downloaded. Another feature of the update was that all my tool-bars were replaced. Customer services helped me get these back, but it's not for the faint-hearted.

Having spent many years in IT, I always take a copy before upgrading anything. It was a life saver in this case, so do take a back-up copy before updating, you may need it.
