Problem downloading data...

Post by Changeable »

It's the first time I've run the LibreOffice version version, b-o. ods in many months.
For some reason, it's not taking the current price of Reckitt Benckiser.
Is this a temporary glitch ?
Can I enter the price manually temporally?

Reckitt Benckiser Group changed it's ticker earlier in the year, so I suspect that your data-sheet needs updating to cope with that.

The data-sheet entry needs to look like this now -

In addition to making the above modification, you'll need to change the 'Ticker' field for Reckitt Benckiser on your main portfolio sheet to 'RKT' as well.

Doing the above two changes should get you going, so please let us know how you get on..

I changed the Ticker Field and the Company Name & Sector manually.
It then loaded the price correctly... :D

I went to ADD SHARE and it still uses the old ticker for Reckitt Benckiser
Can I update the data sheet?

Thanks for your help!

Yes - that step was part of the earlier instructions...

Yes, but how do I introduce that data? It won't accept it manually...

And although it now loads the price, it didn't load the Forecast Yield, Cover or PE...

I'm sure that it's easy when you know how! :(

I suspect you've not typed the initial /equity/xxx field correctly into the data-sheet from the earlier snapshot.

If you copy and paste the following text into that initial RKT field in the data sheet, so it looks like the earlier picture, then it should work correctly -

/equity/Reckitt_Benckiser_Group-13247

OK, I managed to sort it out...
On the Company Data Sheet, the Ticker was incorrect.

Thanks for your help !
