Replacement for DigitalLook Portfolio

Post by NotoriousCanary »

Since DigitalLook seems to be going away, I'm looking for a replacement.

I realise there are many online portfolio tracking services, but the DigitalLook feature that I used most frequently - and can't see replicated on other websites - is the calendar of upcoming events showing dividend (ex and pay) dates, results announcements etc. As each dividend became due I would get a prompt to add the appropriate amount to my portfolio.

Can anybody suggest an alternative -hopefully free - on-line portfolio with these dividend tracking features.

Thanks

..NC

I'm still using my DL Portfolio successfully through the url http://finance.digitallook.com (click the login button, top right, sign in then click Portfolio on the blue bar across the top). But one day they'll get round to turning it off.

Most other portfolios don't prompt you to add the dividends, if you choose to accumulate dividends they do it automatically. My backup for when the inevitable day comes is the FT.com portfolio.

I don't know of any one single source where you can find all the features a DL Portfolio offers.

WebFG have a 'Week ahead' page with upcoming announcements and dividend payments, here's this week's: https://www.sharecast.com/news/financia ... 51972.html

Dividend data also list x/d and payment dates for declared dividends https://www.dividenddata.co.uk/exdivide ... ?m=ftse100

As an alternative to the DL Portfolio's News page Investegate can email RNS alerts for your selected companies if you register.

Doesn't sound as if it is quite as pre-digested as DL, but the LSE ( https://www.londonstockexchange.com/ ) lets you set up a watchlist or portfolio, which will the list each day the RNSs for the constituents.
