Tomorosso

Post by Dod101 »

I must say I love sun dried tomatoes preserved in olive oil and garlic. I doubt that I could live on it but is beautiful alongside a salad for lunch. Wish it were tomorrow!

A nice addition to many a meal - especially buffets - but hardly a centrepiece. Interesting you should single it out for comment!

Would you extend your appreciation to other broadly-speaking mediterranean goodies like olives, artichokes, or indeed hummus, that might often grace a similar meal?

Indeed I do. Not so sure about artichokes mind you, but I buy olives from the same deli as the tomorosso and hummus as well as salami and so on. I construct a salad for lunch out of that lot, especially in the current warm weather. They are all genuine Italian items and so are not particularly cheap but I love them all.

Tomorosso is simply so flavoursome.
