First Direct, website redesign

Post by Slarti »

It truly is horrible!

Harder to use and provides less information.

I wonder who's idea it was?

Probably an app designer.

The ones who appear to have little beta test volume and whose designs then need constant updating.

What does it not provide that the old one used to?

On a positive note it shows pending transactions, which the phone app always has but the web site didn't.

If you have a cash ISA it no longer shows how much more you can put into it this tax year. And on the current account it no longer indicates what type of transaction it is, eg STO, DD, Dr Card, etc.

I'll see if pending transactions appear, for me, but not until 31st as my next transactions are DDs due on the first.
