Raisin - remember to claim your bonus.

Cant' see a post on this topic but I have put a £1000 for myself and Mrs S into Raisin (a savings consolidator) which then passed the money onto a one year ICICI 1.95% account.

As a launch bonus rather like Ratesetter last year Raisin are offering a £50 bonus. Combining the bonus and the ICICI account this 'looks like' a 6.95% savings account.

Annoyingly you have to claim the £50 within 60 days of opening the account and on a first look I nearly missed this requirement (the Ratesetter deal was automatic). See https://www.raisin.co.uk/bonus for details.

You had to claim it within 30 days, not 60, when I opened my account last week.

Anyway, that bonus (£50 for a 1000 deposit) has been discontinued and replaced with new far less generous terms (e.g. £20 for £10k, etc - details in link above).
